Best places to find digital game deals in the UK

Digital games rarely stay at full price for long. Knowing where to look — and what to check — can save you a lot over a year of gaming.

Official platform stores

Steam, the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop all run regular sales. They are the safest option but not always the cheapest.

Authorised key retailers

Digital retailers sell codes you redeem on the official store. Always check the platform, region and edition listed before buying.

What to check

• The platform the code activates on
• Region restrictions (UK, EU or Global)
• The edition and what is included
• The retailer's refund policy
